Terms and Conditions
Making A Purchase
All inkjet, Toner Cartridges & Photo Paper are delivered FREE.
Any orders over £150 (£200 for N.Ireland) will be delivered free of charge, Southern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Channel islands are excluded from the free delivery offer due to additional delivery cost's. Please Email us at sales@thecartridgekingdom with your address so we can provide accurate delivery cost's to these areas.
The free delivery offer does not apply to any large orders that need to be sent on a pallet. i.e. large orders of CD/DVD cases, as pallet deliveries incur additional charges.
Please note when selecting Royal Mail as the delivery method, there is a 15 day period before any claims of "non-delivery" can be made. This is from the date of dispatch. This time period is imposed on us by Royal Mail & we cannot refund or replace your order until this period has elapsed. We will, of course, work with you to try & track down any late or missing deliveries.
Returns will only be accepted for damaged or faulty goods only, but only if you notify us within 7 days of delivery. If the packaging is damaged upon receipt please make a note of this on the courier companies delivery note when signing for the goods. Media returns will not be accepted if you have compatibility problems with your CD/DVD Drives. TheCartridgeKingdom can not be held responsible if you writer/s are incompatible with the media purchased. Returns for inkjet cartridges will not be accepted if all the installation and/or storage procedures have not been followed correctly or the cartridge/s have been tampered with in anyway. All returns will be tested by PC Tonics and you will be notified by e-mail regards the results. If product/s are faulty you will be offered either a full refund or a replacement. Any returns must be sent via a signed for delivery service (for proof of posting). Returns will only be accepted with a valid RMA number, please e-mail us first at "firstname.lastname@example.org" for a valid RMA number.
All pictures are for illustration purposes only, however every effort is made to ensure that all images are relative to the product in question, if you find an image on the website that you believe to be wrong please email us with the details and will check it out. All product descriptions & dimensions are correct to the best of our knowledge, whilst every effort is taken with the descriptions & dimensions mistakes do happen, so please inform us if you find any mistakes with the products descriptions & or dimensions.
Business to Business Transactions
If you are buying from us as a Business for Business purposes then the consumer CCR regulations do not apply to these transaction.s The following "Terms & Conditions" apply to all Business to Business transactions.
All damaged/faulty and/or shortages must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt of your goods, or no claim for damages/faults or losses can be upheld. You have 5 days from receipt of your goods to return the entire order only (no part orders can be returned at all) for a refund minus a 25% Restocking Fee. All returns (excluding damaged/faulty goods) are to be returned at the customers own expense and must be sent via a Recordable & trackable delivery service, we cannot be held responsible for any damages or lost in transit claims if the the above Terms are not adhered to.
We will charge a 25% restocking Fee for all returned goods (except faulty or damaged goods).
TheCartridgeKingdom reserves the right to substitute any items that are low in stock or out of stock with items of a similar or greater value & quality. This does no affect your Statutory Rights. All images/pictures are for illustrative purposes only & may vary slightly to the actual product. All dimensions are for guidance only, TheCartridgeKingdom cannot be held responsible for variations in dimensions as slight variations in dimensions may occur during the manufacturing process.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all our prices are correct when you place an order. If, by mistake, we have under priced an item we will contact you and offer you the following three options:
If you do not choose one of the 3 available options within 14 days, your order will be canceled or the under priced item will be removed from your order. If any payment has been made by you, this will be credited back to your original payment method. Orders are not classed as accepted until your order has been dispatched.
We do not pass any of your details onto a third party for reasons unrelated to your order, we do collect customers email addresses from orders placed and add them to our mailing list. The mailing list is designed to allow us to keep our customers up to date with new products and pricing if you do not wish to receive emails from us then you can unsubscribe from our mailing list instantly and you will not receive any more marketing material.
A: Take and fulfill customer orders
TheCartridgeKingdom cannot be held responsible for any media compatibility issues that may arise when you purchase any CD/DVD media from us.
CD/ DVD media technology is constantly changing, it is impossible to be certain than a specific disc will work in a given drive & that the next batch of media whilst the same brand may be slightly different etc.
It is imperative that the consumer keeps the DVD firmware up to date, what works today will not work in the future as the media / specifications change. Even with the latest firmware installed, some media may still experience burning/writing issues with some CD/DVD writers, even if no problems existed in the past with the same media.
Alleged "Faulty Media"
Most customers who experience trouble burning media always leap to the conclusion that the media must be faulty in some way. In over 95% of these cases the fault lies elsewhere in their set up, or the media is simply incompatible, not defective. In cases where the customer is adamant that the media is faulty, we have the following test procedure that we follow. We have various test writers (different makes & models with the latest up to date firmware) & various test CD/DVD players. We usually burn 5 discs, 1 in each writer (or in extreme cases 10 discs) then test each disc in the CD/DVD players. We then compare the results to a previous test using the same media (or we run a new test with same media from different batch of the same media and compare results). If the media does not show as defective in our tests, we will not replace or make any refund for the media. Any unused media will be returned to the customer at the customers own expense. Note: The only media that usually writes in all writers and plays in all players is media that uses Ritek dye. Other dyes are generally not as universally compatible as Ritek.
We will gladly credit or refund any unused media which is returned to us within 14 days of purchase in original condition eg. no fingerprints, scratches or dirt on the discs. This includes goods ordered in error. Goods ordered in error still need a valid RMA.
